The Old Rectory
Carlton Rode
This wonderful Grade II listed rectory is located in the quiet hamlet of Carleton Rode next to the charming Grade I listed church of All Saints.
Our Story
The Old Rectory has a long and fascinating history - records show that there has been a dwelling place on this site since 1032, and Annabel has traced the names of every resident and owner back to 1307. The current house combines an early Tudor oak-beamed core with a classic George II red brick facade and later additions that include the former village Sunday School. The school bell tower is still in use!
The house has been central to village life for generations and Ian and Annabel enjoy welcoming visitors and guests to this beautiful house and its lovely gardens, and to buy their award-winning produce.
