I am delighted to announce the launch of two new flavours from Old Rectory Preserves in collaboration with the Elveden Estate.
We are pleased to introduce Elveden Elderflower Jelly and Elveden Elderflower & Lime Jelly. Both have been made using elderflowers foraged from the Elveden Estate, and will be included in innovative dishes to be served at the Elveden Courtyard Restaurant.
In addition, our award-winning Red Gooseberry & Elderflower Preserve is now being made using Elveden elderflowers. The very first batch to include Elveden elderflowers has just been shortlisted for the Great British Food Awards 2017.
Using the best quality local ingredients is the founding principle behind Old Rectory Preserves, and this passion for provenance is shared wholeheartedly by the entire team at Elveden.
“Elveden is a world-class producer and purveyor of local and regional food excellence. Our reputation for wildlife conservation, in harmony with our farming practices, makes Elveden an obvious choice for food with a unique story.”
I am very excited at the prospect of working closely with Lord Iveagh, Mo Johansen Head Chef and staff at the Elveden Courtyard Food Hall to develop more innovative and interesting products using wild fruits and herbs foraged from the Estate throughout the seasons.
